Weight Loss Programs

There’s a shocking truth hidden beneath the glitz and glamour associated with many of today’s most popular weight loss options:

The cost is outrageous! Many consumers are in the dark about the hidden costs of popular weight loss programs like Nutrisystem, Jenny Craig, and Medifast. These programs often wait until you’ve already signed up to reveal the full price tag.

Even more shocking is that most insurance companies do not cover weight loss programs. This is because insurance companies typically view weight loss efforts as “elective” procedures, meaning that their costs are not typically covered under most plans.

Paying out of pocket for weight loss can be a financial burden, so it is important to find a program that is both effective and affordable. The recent FDA approval of a new class of weight loss medication offers a more affordable option than traditional methods.

Game Changing FDA Approved Medication

So many Americans struggle to achieve weight loss success, with the existing programs and methods out there.

After all, 70% of Americans are currently overweight – with one-third of those being obese!

The FDA approved a new class of weight-loss medications, semaglutide (GLP-1), on June 4, 2021.

This new medication has demonstrated promising results for long-term weight management in adults with obesity or overweight who have at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol. It is to be used in conjunction with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.
